ACCREDITATION FEES

How much does it cost the laboratory to apply for accreditation with the IAC? The following is a complete list of accreditation fees for all IAC divisions.

Fee for Access to Online Accreditation (ICAVL, ICANL, ICAMRL, ICACTL) or the Electronic Application (ICAEL)

Labs applying for ICAVL, ICANL, ICAMRL or ICACTL accreditation will purchase access to Online Accreditation; those applying for ICAEL accreditation will purchase the Electronic Application. The one-time fee to purchase access to Online Accreditation or the Electronic Application is $200. This fee provides the laboratory with notification of periodic updates to the online Standards, and everything necessary to apply for accreditation. Once the order is placed, the laboratory is not obligated to apply for accreditation within any given period of time. Access to your account is good for the life of your facility.

Application Fees

Below are the application fees for each IAC division. Application fees should not be paid until the laboratory applies for accreditation.

ICAVL

Types of Accreditation Offered | Extracranial Cerebrovascular; Intracranial Cerebrovascular; Peripheral Arterial; Peripheral Venous; Visceral Vascular; Screening

Cost Per Three-Year Cycle | $1500...Base fee + one testing area. +$300...Per additional testing area (over one). +$750...Per additional site (over one). +$200...Per mobile unit. Additional fees, based upon size and complexity, apply to eligible laboratories with multiple sites and/or mobile services.

ICAEL

Types of Accreditation Offered | Adult Transthoracic; Adult Transesophageal; Adult Stress; Pediatric Transthoracic; Pediatric Transesophageal; Fetal

Cost Per Three-Year Cycle | BASE FEES: Adult Transthoracic... $1500 (plus Adult TEE...$250; plus Adult Stress...$250); Pediatric Transthoracic... $1500 (plus Pediatric TEE...$250; plus Fetal...$250.). Additional fees: Staff totaling 7-25 members...$200 per staff member. Staff members over 25...$50 per staff member. Additional fees, based upon size and complexity, apply to eligible laboratories with multiple sites and/or mobile services.

ICANL

Types of Accreditation Offered | NUCLEAR CARDIOLOGY: Myocardial Perfusion Imaging; Equilibrium Radionuclide Angiography. NUCLEAR MEDICINE: Gastrointestinal System Imaging; Central Nervous System Imaging; Endocrine System Imaging; Endocrine System Non-Imaging (e.g., radioiodine uptake); Skeletal System Imaging; Genitourinary System Imaging; Pulmonary System Imaging; Infection Imaging; Tumor Imaging; Hematopoietic, Reticulendothelial and Lymphatic Imaging; Other Cardiovascular Imaging; Nuclear Medicine Therapy. POSITRON EMISSION TOMOGRAPHY (PET): Oncologic Imaging; Neurologic Imaging; Cardiac Imaging.

Cost Per Three-Year Cycle | Comprehensive Nuclear Medicine Accreditation (Nuclear Medicine Testing and Nuclear Cardiology Testing and/or PET Testing)...$3800. Nuclear Cardiology testing only...$3300. Nuclear Medicine Testing only...$3300. PET Testing only...$3300. Additional fees, based upon size and complexity, apply to eligible laboratories with multiple sites and/or mobile services.

ICAMRL

Cost Per Three-Year Cycle | NEW LABORATORIES: Initial fee for first unit...$2400 base fee + $400 per testing area. Each additional unit over one...$1200. ACCREDITED LABORATORIES: Each additional or replacement unit...$800. Each additional testing area...$400. Additional fees, based upon size and complexity, apply to eligible laboratories with multiple sites and/or mobile services.

ICACTL

Types of Accreditation Offered | Coronary Calcium Scoring; Cardiovascular CTA; Neuro [Brain, Spine, CTA]; Sinus and Temporal Bone; Body CT [Chest (Non-Cardiac), Abdomen, Pelvis, Extremity]; Body CTA [Chest (Non-Cardiac), Abdomen, Pelvis, Peripheral/Extremity]
