On A Mission
THE IAC ENHANCES ITS MISSION STATEMENT
Spring 2009
At the IAC Annual Meeting held in February, a new mission statement was adopted by the IAC Board of Directors. As the IAC has grown and evolved over the past several years, the Board felt it was important to create a mission statement that would better articulate the purpose of the organization and its member divisions.

The Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) is a preeminent leader in contributing to continuous improvement in health care by its exclusive dedication to recognizing and establishing value driven quality standards through collaboration with professional medical membership organizations and to providing peer review accreditation.
